In the group stage, all teams will play against each other once in a round-robin format. Each team will play a total of 14 matches, with seven at home and seven away. The top four teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.The knockout stage of the T20 Blast 2023 consists of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final. In this phase, teams will compete in single-elimination games until only one team is left standing as champion.This new format promises to bring out the best in every team and player involved in the tournament. T20 Blast 2023 Schedule

The T20 Blast 2023 Schedule has been announced, and cricket fans all over the world are excited to see their favourite teams in action. The tournament will feature a total of 133 matches, including the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. Each team will play 14 matches in the group stage before progressing to the knockout rounds.

 

The tournament is set to kick off on July 2nd with defending champions Birmingham Bears taking on Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Edgbaston Stadium. The group stage matches will be played until September 4th, after which the top four teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

 

The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place from September 7th-10th, while the semi-finals are slated for September 16th-17th. The final match of T20 Blast 2023 is scheduled for September 21st under floodlights at Edgbaston Stadium.

 

Apart from Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, several other venues across England have been selected to host T20 Blast matches this year. These include Trent Bridge (Nottingham), Old Trafford (Manchester), Headingley (Leeds), Sophia Gardens (Cardiff) among others.

 

It promises to be an exciting summer of cricket as we witness some of the best players compete against each other in one of Britain’s most popular sporting events – T20 Blast!



T20 Blast 2023 Teams

The T20 Blast 2023 is set to feature a total of 18 teams, divided into two groups. Each team will play against the other nine teams in their respective group, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals and a final.

 

The North Group comprises Derbyshire Falcons, Durham Cricket Board, Lancashire Lightning, Leicestershire Foxes, Nottinghamshire Outlaws and Yorkshire Vikings along with three new entrants – Scotland Saltires from Scotland; Birmingham Bears from England’s Central region; Wales Dragons from Glamorgan.

 

Meanwhile, the South Group includes Essex Eagles,Hampshire Hawks,Kent Spitfires,Middlesex Panthers,Somerset Sabres,Surrey Lions,Sussex Sharks,Glamorgan Gladiators,and Gloucestershire Giants.

 

All participating cricket clubs have been preparing hard for this event by building strong squads that include both domestic and overseas players. Fans can expect to witness some high-quality cricket being played throughout this exciting tournament.
